Biography
Craig Binnion started in the bakery industry in 1985 during his military service. He completed an apprenticeship as a craft baker in the retail bakery sector in 1989.
He then joined a major flour milling company, where his career spanned 24 years, ending as national technical sales manager. In 2016 he joined a British bakery ingredients manufacturing plant in SA as sales director, and in 2018 he accepted a position as general manager for a French bakery ingredients manufacturing plant in SA. Since 2021 he represents.
South African Chamber of Baking as Executive Director.
Craig studied at the American Institute of Baking in Manhattan Kansas and holds an international baking qualification. He also studied at the University of the Witwatersrand Business School and completed the MAP programme.
He is married with three children and for fun he is an open water scuba instructor, technical and rebreather diver.
